We take the opposite approach. Our veteran artisans hand-carve each wooden last based on ergonomic foot data, widening the toe box to avoid cramped toes and sculpting built-in arch support to ease fatigue from all-day standing. Every piece of high-grade genuine leather we select is manually softened before assembly to remove rigid edges that rub and blister feet. Layers of shock-absorbent cushion are hand-laid inside the shoe, paired with a flexible rubber outsole stitched by hand. No automated mass molding shortcuts are allowed. Every curve, padding thickness and fit detail is fine-tuned manually by craftsmen.

A single pair of our leather heels goes through more than 120 independent hand-operated procedures. Our artisans manually sort and screen imported top-grain leather one by one, discarding hides with subtle scratches or uneven grain. Every leather panel is cut, polished and softened by hand to preserve its natural, delicate texture.
Stitching, lining fitting, sole bonding and edge polishing are all finished manually, without machine uniform templates. Craftsmen adjust each seam and radian according to the unique softness of different leather materials, avoiding stiff, abrasive joints common in factory-made shoes. Fast fashion relies on machinery for high output, but SIMONE chooses slow handcraftsmanship. Premium Leather Craftsmanship – Respect the Natural Texture of Genuine Hide
High-grade leather is the core craft foundation of SIMONE, and we establish strict handmade standards for all leather processing.
We only source top-tier European full-grain lambskin, cowhide and patent leather, completely rejecting synthetic leather and coated faux leather. Natural genuine leather carries unique grain and excellent air permeability, yet raw hide feels stiff out of the tannery — this is where our leather handcraft takes center stage.
Skilled craftsmen conduct repeated manual softening and stretching treatment on every leather panel, refining the hide’s flexibility while locking in its luxury luster. During assembly, leather is wrapped and stretched by hand to fit the hand-carved last perfectly, preventing creases and tight spots after long wear. We never cover leather’s natural texture with thick chemical coatings. All finishing is completed with mild, hand-applied leather care lotion.
